Your armor and weapons must pass the inspection standards of the Middle Kingdom. You may borrow suitable armor and equipment to authorize. If you are not already an authorized heavy combat fighter, you must do that authorization first!

It is strongly advised that you get some training on how to do siege before you come to authorize; please speak to your local group Knight's Marshal or an experienced crew or engineer and get some practice before the day of the event. There will be opportunities to do so at events prior to NOWM, including Spring Training in Rivenvale on May 7th.

There will be a limited amount of siege equipment available to authorize with on the day of the event. Please fill out the necessary paperwork during Saturday morning and bring it to the Siege and Combat Archery shade fly on the field before 12 noon. The forms are available on the Marshal's web page listed above. As usual, you must have your SCA membership in hand.

Contact Baron Alexander for information on instruction opportunities.
