Cookie War: War in Full Flour

Cookie Marshal-in-Charge: Meinhard Hammerschmidt

From Marshal Meinhard comes this challenge: Bring out your deadliest cookies and pit them against the best of your fellows from across the Midrealm! The rules:

  1. Drop off your cookies between 8am and noon on Saturday. Populace judging will be from noon to 4pm.
  2. Entrants are invited to notify the Marshal of their intent to enter the competition.
  3. The Duel will be held at a neutral location near the Magic Carpet Kavehane on the NOWM Village Green (surrounding the pavilion).
  4. Cookies should be provided in ziploc bags or disposable aluminum roasting pans (i.e., not in anything that will have to be returned to the entrant).
  5. All entrants should identify their cookies with the name and type of cookie.  The entrant's SCA name should be affixed in such a way that it can be detached or obscured (e.g., on the bottom of an aluminum pan), so that a blind taste-test can take place, but proper glory can be given the winner(s) of this all-important Cookie Duel.
  6. You may bring as many types of cookies as you like, but only one variety will be judged.
  7. Eight cookies will be sequestered for judging by The Royals in attendance, should They decide to participate. Entrants are asked to supply an additional amount (totalling about 3 dozen) so that the populace may also sample.
