The Seventh Bardic Roundhouse

A gathering of the bardic community

June 13-15, 2014

15523 Louisville St
Homeworth, OH 44634
(five miles south of Alliance)

Bardic Roundhouse is a gathering of the performing arts community in northern Oaken and of our neighbors and friends: bards, aspiring bards, musicians, jugglers, jongleurs ... and those who just enjoy listening and watching.

Food and camping are included in the price of admission!

Hi-jinks and Higher Education

Both the sublime and the ridiculous will be celebrated this year. In no particular order:

Master Cerian has stepped up to coordinate activities this year, so you can expect some particularly Cerian-esque twists in the games and challenges.

And Lady Ursula will return, after an absence of several years, as our class coordinator, so expect a lineup of the academically exquisite and unique.

Musicians, Gather:

This year we'll once again have special activities and tracks of classes specifically for musicians. Watch the Schedule and Classes pages for updates.

Return to Homeworth:

We're delighted to announce that Bardic Roundhouse will return to the Harper Homestead in the Marche of Alderford (Homeworth, Ohio). The Barony of the Cleftlands remains the main financial supporter for the event, but Alderford is providing the site and much of the staff.

The schedule is loose, with plenty of free time to jam and talk.

The site fee includes meals aplenty, and everyone under 18 is admitted free.

Roundhouse is sponsored by The Barony of the Cleftlands and The Marche of Alderford, but the event is run by Gorsedd, the community of bards in northern Oaken, Middle Kingdom of the SCA. (The links above are external to this web site.)

Please remember that we ask you to bring beverages for yourself, and camp chairs, and we invite you to bring a dessert to share.
