The feast day of Alexandr Nevski is celebrated by the
Orthodox church on November 23. It seems fitting, then, that the
strong Slavic heritage of the Canton of Dun Traigh (the name
only looks Scottish) be reflected in the theme of this event.

Alexander is famously ambiguous - a saint with no miracles, a military savior who paid tribute to the Khan. Our challenges will pay tribute to this enigma.

Many thanks go to the officers and populace of Dun Traigh

in helping the bardic community out this year.

And here is a PDF flyer for the event.

Bardic Madness is a "bardic safe zone" - a friendly place
where you may feel free to experiment and try new things.

If you've never performed before, now's your chance.

If you're a veteran performer who wants to branch out to
a new genre or instrument, this is the place.

You'll be hard pressed to find a friendlier and more supportive audience.
