December 1, 1292, was a good day for John Balliol - his first full day as King of Scotland.
But less than four years later, after constant humiliations at the hands of the English,
he was defeated in battle and abdicated. The arms of Scotland were stripped from his surcoat, giving him the abiding nickname of "Toom Tabard" - "The Empty Suit".

Bardic Madness is a "bardic safe zone" - a friendly place
where you may feel free to experiment and try new things.

If you've never performed before, now's your chance.

If you're a veteran performer who wants to branch out to
a new genre or instrument, this is the place.

You'll be hard pressed to find a friendlier and more supportive audience.
