Welcome to

Bardic Madness XVI:

The Soul of Wit

November 15, 2014

On November 15 we celebrate two of the shortest reigns in history:
John I of France (reigned 5 days); and Albert VII, Archduke of Austria
(reigned "a few months"). To honor the birthday of these thrifty souls,
many of the day's challenges encourage great economy of language.

(For some additional spice, we note that Lady Jane Grey, the Nine Days Queen,
was convicted of High Treason on November 13, 1553!)

Bardic Madness is a "bardic safe zone" - a friendly place
where you may feel free to experiment and try new things.

If you've never performed before, now's your chance.

If you're a veteran performer who wants to branch out to
a new genre or instrument, this is the place.

You'll be hard pressed to find a friendlier and more supportive audience.
